Message from the Director General

“The school must be a place of learning and development for the child. I am particularly proud of the excellent academic results of our pupils, but the well-being of the children during their school career is also important. This holistic approach is an integral part of the Institute’s philosophy and we are keen to ensure that children achieve their potential through extra-curricular activities and options of their choice such as art, sport and culture.
 
We strive to make the student the actor of his or her schooling through collaborative pedagogical practices that leave room for creativity and imagination. As a visionary school, the use of technological tools allows us to develop communication skills and to train our students to be responsible and autonomous. 
 
More than a school, the Institut International de Lancy is a community in which children can grow, learn, develop their intellectual curiosity and be inspired by the values of respect and tolerance specific to our school. These values are also promoted by the KiVa anti-bullying programme, which has been in place for several years.
