Football Option Sandy Maendly's Interview

At the end of November, the students of our football option were lucky enough to receive a visit from professional footballer Sandy Maendly. The children took the opportunity to ask all their questions to the former Swiss national team player and to record an interview in the IIL radio studio. A unique experience they will remember for a long time!
The Institut International de Lancy launched a football option at the start of the 2022/2023 school year, in partnership with Foot Lab, an innovative training programme developed by Patrick La Spina and recognised for having designed the methodology chosen by Zinédine Zidane for his clubs, the Zidane Five Club. Integrated into the school curriculum, this new option aims to allow students to learn through their passion. In addition to the three weekly training sessions, part of the pedagological programme is focused on football, including theory lessons on football culture and health. The personal development of the child, in all its dimensions, is at the heart of the approach.
