IIL accredited as an Athlete Friendly Education Center by the World Academy of Sport

The Institut International de Lancy has always been particularly proud of its elite athletes who have successfully managed to practise sport at a high level whilst managing the demands of their academic studies.

It is for this reason that we are happy to announce a new partnership with the World Academy of Sport (https://www.worldacademysport.com). 

We were excited to host a visit from two Olympian assessors in March, where we were able to showcase our facilities and reflect on the best ways we could support our young sportsmen and women.

We are now pleased to report that IIL has been accredited as an Athlete Friendly Education Centre (AFEC https://istudy.sport/afec). This will give all our students and staff access to the World Academy of Sport pedagogical resources and to their network of Olympians, to give them the best support we can provide. In addition, our older elite athletes will now benefit from the opportunity to complete their IB Diploma in three years rather than two, giving them more flexibility in their schedule. 

We are very proud of this new partnership from the 2023-2024 academic school year.
