IIL celebrates 10 years of partnership with CHI Geneva
17 December 2024The Institut International de Lancy (IIL) is proud to have celebrated its 10-year partnership with Concours Hippique International de Genève (CHI) at the 63rd edition, held from 11 to 15 December 2024. Created in 1926, the event is recognised as one of the most prestigious equestrian competitions, bringing together the elite of international riders every year. This year, the CHI was distinguished by a particularly festive atmosphere, marked by the exploits of Swiss riders Martin Fuchs and Steve Guerdat and an impressive attendance record of 48,000 spectators over five days. This partnership is of particular importance to IIL, which shares the CHI’s values of excellence, discipline and passion for equestrian sport. This shared passion is also reflected throughout the IIL community, some of whom stand out for their particularly remarkable performances in this sport. As part of our Sport Passion Nature option, our students have the opportunity to practice horse riding and each year, several primary classes have the chance to discover the many facets of the equestrian world during the Schools’ Day at the CHI. Throughout the competition, spectators were once again able to admire the IIL colours proudly represented on an obstacle during several jumping events. IIL’s General Director, Monique Roiné, also presented the prize to the winner of the FEI Driving World Cup, sponsored by the Institute. Congratulations to all the riders and drivers who shone in this competition, and see you next year!
