IIL provides expert support in the fight against school bullying

As part of the annual symposium about bullying in schools at the University of Fribourg on 25 January 2024, Monique Roiné, Director General, and Amélie Rochais, KiVa Coordinator, presented our KiVa anti-bullying programme to nearly 200 education professionals, including 25 speakers. 

Through a concrete example, they illustrated best practices for dealing with bullying in schools, based on awareness raising, prevention, case management and monitoring of the school climate. 

IIL was the first school in Switzerland to adopt this anti-bullying programme in 2021, and it is now a certified partner of the KiVa programme. As an official trainer, IIL provides training in Switzerland and internationally to French- and English-speaking schools interested in setting up the programme and ensuring a calm and caring learning environment for their pupils.
