Bus Service at IIL
Located in the heart of Grand-Lancy, the IIL campus is particularly easy to access. Our school transport service covers the entire Geneva region including the Swiss / French border area.
Approximately 400 students use the IIL bus service morning and/or afternoon every day. Around 20 IIL School bus lines cover 133 zones spread across the Canton of Geneva, neighbouring France and part of the Canton of Vaud.
Morning pick-up times vary depending on the location of students and are calculated to ensure arrival at school between 7:45 and 8:10 am. Afternoon buses leave the school at 4:35 pm (except on Wednesdays 12:45).
The safety of our students is at the heart of our service. Students are regularly reminded of the school bus safety rules and code of conduct. As a KiVa school, every bus driver, including IIL staff and our external partner, is trained and empowered to monitor every student’s safety and well-being.
