Meeting with Emilie Vanvolsem

Last week, our students from 9e and 8e welcomed the children’s book wildlife illustrator Emilie Vanvolsem.

After working more than 10 years for La Petite Salamandre, Emilie is now collaborating with the publishing house Ricochet, for the collection Ohé la science!.

The illustrator has presented her artistic world to the children, as well as her work and her last albums, such as « Formidables fourmis », « Pas bêtes les bêtes » et « Mystères et toiles d’araignée ».

The children were then initiated into drawing with a technique taught by the illustrator. Very attentive, they all produced beautiful drawings.
