The Institut International de Lancy and Collège Sainte-Anne create the A2IS network
3 May 2024The Institut International de Lancy (IIL), a bilingual international school based in Geneva, and Collège Sainte-Anne, a private Montreal institution, are joining forces to launch the A2IS network. This initiative aims to further stimulate innovation in education and develop teaching skills tailored to contemporary needs.
Aware of the future challenges, the two institutions are committed to preparing their students to navigate through an ever-changing society. Integrating advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, into their educational programmes is one of the many strategies adopted to meet these challenges. A2IS symbolises a common will for international collaboration between schools to innovate and educate young people to become committed actors.
The network promotes a dynamic exchange of knowledge and experiences, fostering continuous improvement of pedagogical and managerial methods and the co-creation of cutting-edge strategies. Other schools will join the network in the future to further extend this sharing of expertise. Joint training programmes and annual meetings are also planned, the first of which will be held in Montreal in May 2025.
With more than 120 years of experience, IIL is recognized for its innovative approach, particularly in integrating digital technologies into education. The school is committed to modernising educational practices, while remaining true to the values of its founding school, the Collège Marie Thérèse, and focusing on 21st-century skills.
At Collège Sainte-Anne, innovation is at the heart of the educational strategy, covering both pedagogy and technology. The school stands out for its pioneering use of artificial intelligence and active teaching methods, offering a revolutionary, integrated secondary curriculum.
“This enriching collaboration is the result of many years of joint work and friendship. We look forward to strengthening our partnership within this network of innovative schools,” says Monique Roiné, Director General of IIL.
“At Collège Sainte-Anne, we firmly believe that innovation is the key to shaping the future of education. By integrating new technologies and pedagogical methods, we are preparing our students to excel in an ever-changing world,” affirms Ugo Cavenaghi, CEO of Collège Sainte-Anne.
